David joined B+H in 1999 and offers more than 25 years of experience in the field. He was appointed as a Partner in 2005 and as Executive Vice-President, Asia in 2010. David has been based in Shanghai as a Senior Design Principal since 2010 and is a member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. He has expertise in conceptual design and design development for both large- and small-scale institutional, educational, commercial and residential projects. David has recently been elected to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.  

David advocates a strong interactive and participatory design process to achieve design excellence. He has been active with major overseas developments including the Al Juwaiza New Town (Sharjah, United Arab Emirates), La Residence at the Lotus (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) and Mistra Village (St. Paul's Bay, Malta). David's projects in Asia include the Top of City residential development (Shanghai), Xiamen National Accounting School (China), Changi General Hospital (Singapore), and Gleneagles Medini Hospital (Malaysia). His Canadian accomplishments include Pearson Airport's Infield Development (Toronto), the 131 Queen Street mixed-use development (Ottawa), the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort (Niagara Falls), Niagara Health System Hospital (St. Catharines) and the Bell Canada Creekbank Phase 3 office building, which is LEED Canada-NC Silver certified (Mississauga).
